Waxing clears the fine hairs and strays around your brows in one pass, so results look cleaner and last longer than tweezing alone. Andrea finishes with tweezers for the details wax cannot reach.
Tweezing pulls one hair at a time, which is slow and easy to overdo. Waxing removes the whole area of unwanted hair at once, including the soft, fine hairs that make brows look fuzzy, then tweezers handle the final details.
Because hair is removed from the root, regrowth comes in slowly. Most clients enjoy clean brows for several weeks.
Andrea starts by asking what you like and dislike about your brows now. She cleanses the area so the wax grips the hair, not your skin, then works one small section at a time.
You can check the shape in a mirror before she finishes. Your skin may look a little pink for a short while afterward, which usually settles quickly.

If you can, skip tweezing for a couple of weeks before your visit. A little extra growth gives Andrea more to work with when she shapes.
Yes. Let her know if you use retinoids or acne medication, have recently had a facial peel, or have any skin sensitivity, since these can affect how your skin reacts to wax.
It is best to give the skin a few hours to settle. Skip heavy brow products, very hot showers and exfoliating the area for the rest of the day.
